Adulting 101

Adulting 101 is a program provided by the Library to teach teens and adults valuable life lessons. The Library will seek out teachers for a variety of topics that may be useful. This program occurs the 3rd Saturday of every month from 2-4 p.m. in the Taylor Auditorium. Adulting 101 is a joint program provided by youth services and the reference department.

Upcoming programs:

October 20: Check it out, a financial literacy class about checking accounts, presented by Capital One. 

November 17: Resume Writing, a class about writing resumes, cover letters, and more, presented by the Writing Center from UT Tyler.

December 15: Basic Automotive Care, learn the basics for caring for your vehicle, presented by Chevy Sturgill, TJC.

January 19, 2019: For Rent, a dos and don'ts for renting apartments and home, presented by Jolie Smith, Conquest Property.
